The Kitchen Company of Wellington, Somerset is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of kitchens, bedrooms, and home offices. Established in 1995, we have strong ties to the housing market in the Southwest and beyond.
We design, manufacture and install kitchens to suit all budgets; from large contract developments of 200+ properties where margins are tight, to bespoke one-off projects. We have built our success and reputation on value for money and excellent service, consistently reinvesting in high quality machinery and personnel.
Our aim is to produce perfection as standard and we are very proud of the high quality workmanship that we produce. All cabinets are made in our factory, enabling us to produce anything from basic to bespoke designs.

/ Our History /
In 1995, Tony purchased second-hand machinery and rented a small 2,500 sq.ft. workshop in Poole, Wellington. From there, The Kitchen Company was born — steadily growing to employ over 30 people.
By 2000, the company moved into a purpose-built 6,000 sq.ft. factory at Rockwell Green, expanding further in 2002 to 12,000 sq.ft. on the same site. In 2003, The Kitchen Company opened its first retail showroom in Wellington.
In March 2024, we opened a new 3000 sq.ft. flagship showroom and moved into modern offices within a second unit on the same estate — a major step forward in our ongoing investment in quality and service.
Tony remains fiercely proud of The Kitchen Company's reputation and is committed to producing kitchens that customers can be just as proud of as he is.
